"When Time Fades..." is the third album from this up and coming progressive metal band that caught the attention of SENSORY RECORDS as an opening act for ZERO HOURs last east coast tour of the US. Formed in 2001, SUSPYREs brand of progressive metal can be attributed to the band members wide range of in. uences. These talented, young musicians from New Jersey have discovered an energetic and gifted way of combining progressive rock and symphonic metal with classical and jazz fusion. SUSPYRE is able to take the huge choruses and neoclassical in. uences of SYMPHONY X and meld them with the technicality of DREAM THEATER all the while maintaining a strong sense of melody and catchy hooks. The band records in their own studio but utilize advanced production techniques to achieve an epic sound that reminds one of European metal bands like RHAPSODY and EPICA. Returning to the studio to work on this new album, the band further re. ned and developed their own identity. The music grooves, has more metallic crunch and even demonstrates a broader range of styles.
