With several greatest-hits compilations already out, Aquarius/"Capitol" decided to collect tunes which represent the influences the band dabbled with, rather than just showcasing bona fide hits during April Wine's First Decade. Released for the first time are three compositions by leader Myles Goodwyn that were supposed to be on his first solo album, but were left off in what did become another April Wine album -- 1977's Forever for Now. "It's a Pleasure to See You Again," "Somebody Like You," and "Am I In Love" showcase Goodwyn's well-deep talent for writing simple, effective love songs like they just roll off his tongue. From the wonderfully dirty, tongue-in-cheek "Slow Poke," to the mystic "Mama Laye," these tunes cover a broad spectrum.
