This album represents the definitive middle ground between prog rock, pop rock, and alt-metal that so many slick, modern prog bands have decided to base their sound around. At times, many of these bands end up sound like a slightly more ambitious and/or metallic Coldplay, but Wilson & Co. ended up creating a sound here that is just too enjoyable to deny.
