Nebula's first release that is not an EP. "To The Center" is another retro -psychedelic heavy rock banger that has steeled its riff muscles and features tremendously good guitar jams on a technical level. The results are sometimes not absolutely purposeful, but this does not matter if you are familiar with this kind of metal - it fits in this context of consciousness expansion.
What matters more than point landings for the songs are riffs and atmosphere: "To The Center" has enough of both. Originally released on Sub Pop in 1999, the album sounds more progressive and psychedelic than the band's other albums. Produced by Jack Endino and Nebula. Endino also appeared as sound engineer while the album was recorded at Hanzsek Audio in Seattle in April 1999. The new Heavy Psych Sounds version of "To The Center" comes up with incredible bonus songs.
