Painful Reminder / Dead Is Dead = 10" = (10")
The first EP after "Ellengæst" is a special single. A cover version of the SNFU classic "Painful Reminder" featuring new vocalist and lyricist Joel Segerstedt. He joins the band to be the male voice and contrast Belinda Kordic in the female / male dynamic that is now an integral part of the CRIPPLED BLACK PHOENIX sound. This release is a way to introduce Joel to the public while paying tribute to SNFU singer Mr. Chi Pig. The song was already on the list of cover song ideas Justin (Greaves) has in his back pocket, but now it was time to release it since Chi Pig passed away in 2020. It seemed like the right thing to do to pay tribute to him.
