I have seen this band compared elsewhere on the internet to Hansson & Karlsson and Bootcut. All three comprise mainly of two guys - the Hammond player and a drummer and all the keyboard players are very good. Where this album does differ is that Sound Express use other instruments, namely at times a bass and lead guitar, as well as including a mouth harp. It is almost entirely instrumental but there is one incongruous track, "Juice of Joy", included on the download and not listed on the vinyl LP. This is presumably a bonus but sounds nothing like the rest, being a very basic blues number in fact it has no Hammond and has vocals and may not even be from the band!
