The cult US Death/Thrash Commando Blood Feast from Bayonne/New Jersey recorded their demo already in 1985 under the banner of "Blood Lust". A few months later New Renaissance Records became aware of the band and helped them with a slot on today two legendary samplers named "Thrash Metal Attack" and "Speed Metal Hell III". The fans reacted very positive on those two songs and so NRR signed them very quickly. They changed their name into "Blood Feast" and recorded the self-financed first album entitled " Kill for pleasure" which was released in early 1987. Still in December 1987 Blood Feast released the "Face fate" Ep and played a lot of live shows in addition. The musical style of Blood Feast was a mixture of early Death&Thrash elements and reminds of bands like Dark Angel, Exodus and Slayer.
