Five Decades Of Classic Rock = 3 CD, Digipak = (CD)
The German-British rock legend Epitaph celebrates its 50th anniversary. Reason enough to look back on the lived and rocked half century together with a "Best Of ..." album: To the beginnings in the draughty practice basement in Dortmund in autumn 1969, the move to the upcoming "RockCity" Hanover a few months later, the first recordings, partly in London's Wessex Studios, and then in 1971 the release of their first longplayer at the German Polydor
Epitaph picked up speed. The first TV appearance at the legendary "Beat-Club" of Radio Bremen followed, Polydor released the second album "Stop, Look And Listen", the band had found their sound (trademark: the Twin-Guitars) and in 1974 the adventure America enticed. Epitaph was the first German rock band to produce an album in America, and so the longplayer "Outside The Law" was produced in the Chicago Omega Studios. Epitaph went through the ups and downs of the rock business
