A tough bastard between Stoner Rock, Sludge Doom and Noise is what the band YOB from Oregon play. There's no easy listening stuff here but pure brain nectar. You should occupy yourself with the music before you comprehend its genius. 4 songs generously spread on 50 minutes, by that you can already tell that YOB don't play Pop music. It takes some spins until you understand it, but you have to congratulate the Americans for introducing something fresh to the Doom genre. Dusk blue vinyl. Ltd 250 copies worldwide.
