Gypsy Ways = Japanese = (CD)
Less famous than their countrymen fellows Loudness, but still one of the most important and most influential on domestic scene, Japanese heavy metal band Anthem's 4th studio album Gypsy Ways was a crucial record for the band. The main reason was the change of vocal man - popular and talented Eizo Sakamoto has left the band, and was replaced by rather unknown Yukio Morikawa.
But in the end, it turned out to be the right decision and Anthem's albums with Morikawa are still considered the golden era of the band. There's no wonder why - Japanese heavy metal bands of 80's, while being technically on par with their western counterparts, have always had problems with singers. But Morikawa, often compared to Graham Bonnet, finally managed to prove that Japan can also produce a good hard rock/heavy metal vocalist.
