When talking about 1979 and Motorhead all the people will point at Overkill, and i agree calling that their best album. But the fact is that this album, Bomber, is really a fucking cool piece of harsh art. Lemmy and his friends bring into this album more influences, even if it lacks a slower and completely blues track like Capricorn, there is Lawman, a very strange rock song with fantastic lyrics and Sweet Revenge, an haunting song who remembers Black Sabbath and really involves the listener with his easy but unforgettable riffs. Then, we have the classic and epic Motorhead songs, with the style everyone learned to know: Dead men tell no tales, Sharpshooter, Stone dead forever, All the aces and the title track. A mention for the cool Talking Head, another stab at the back of medias, after the attack against managers of All the aces. A great album, really cool.
