What you have here is a very solid album by a band that most consider a "singles" group. They're not. The talents of Burton Cummings and Randy Bachman combine to deliver a solid performace from start to finish, with the notable exception of the silly "Talisman". You know the hits, at least you should know the hits, and they're every bit as good as you remember. But also Check out "8:15", "Proper Strangers" and while a little over the top, "Humpty's Blues" for proof that this album isn't hits and filler. The Guess Who was an excellent band, and this is their best album.
