Apocalipsis (CD)
Basically a Folk group from Madrid, Spain, led by composer Manolo Diaz, who by mid-60's had started getting involved in record companies, and young student of Literature Jose Antonio Munoz, who's love for poetry led him filling the texts of the band, which operated with slightly different studio and live cores. They were not very popular in Spain back in late-60's, but received huge praise in concerts around Europe, mainly Italy and Portugal. After a 1970 Psych/Folk album (''Cada vez mas cerca'') they returned in 1971 with a work based on the Revelation, ''Apocalipsis'' (released on Diaz'es own Accion label).A very good Folk Rock album with progressive tendencies, which comes as a combination of spoken texts, based on the work of Munoz, light acoustic and electric passages and beautiful keyboard parts, smooth Hammond organ and omnipresent harsichord.
