For all the holocaust that is the throat-garotting vocal of the lead singer, there's a kind of hardcore respect that's bludgeoning you into submission, revolving around this album. The Coventry quintet don't do a great deal that you've not heard before, but it's more the way they do it, performing several of the songs with a vari-speed approach, often going from fast to mid to slow paced and back again, in the space of one song. It's bit like a Slayer meeting the honey monster in a whirlwind of brutal metal proportions.
