New, second album by the Italian psychedelic rock band La Morte Viene Dallo Spazio (Death Comes From Space). The name is taken from a late 50's Italian sci-fi B-movie and is a solid departure from anything you'll hear right now. The Italian quintet is composed of an open assembly of players, combining flavors of Middle Eastern scales, droning theremin and guitars.
The hectic, progressive and abstract elements of their flute player tear open the cosmic gates like Jethro Tull in a giallo nightmare. La Morte Viene Dallo Spazio's second album on Svart Records, 'Trivial Visions', is an experience all its own. A captivating listen in a confluence of sounds and ritual atmospheres that create an effect both vibrant and hypnotic with hints of black metal and extreme ends of the sonic spectrum.
