Progressive Rock, Avantgarde, Baroque-Pop, Industrial, Metal - the music of Bent Knee is hard to reconcile. Perhaps it can best be summarized under the term art-rock, because art is its incomparable music. "Land Animal is the proof. This is already the fourth album of the six-piece band from Boston, which was founded a good eight years ago at Berklee College of Music. Courtney Swain (vocals, keyboards), Ben Levin (guitar background vocals), Chris Baum (violin, background vocals), Jessica Kion (bass, background vocals), Gavin Wallace-Ailsworth (drums) and Vince Welch (synthesizer, sound design) recorded a total of ten new songs for "Land Animal". The new album also features a remix of the title song, which is also the first single release.
