Light Damage = Digipack = (CD)
Light Damage was formed in September 2005. After returning to their Luxembourg home, they quickly made contact with Nicholas-John (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Fraydd (bass) and began to play covers of Genesis and Pink Floyd. With a wide range of group influences, the music of Light Damage draws mostly from 70's progressive rock bands. Only a few months later, LD made their live debut, performing covers and original compositions. In April 2008, the band gained some attention at the Festival Tribute Arlon, where they participated as a Pink Floyd tribute called "Brain Damage". But by that time the group already had focused on new compositions. Between January and March 2009, five tracks for the self-produced demo "ACRONYM" were recorded. 2012-2013 saw the first major lineup changes, with founding member Seb being replaced on drums by Thibaut and another Seb joined the band on keyboards. This new lineup took a year off from playing live, composed new songs, re-arranged older songs and prepared a recording session for 2014, which originated in the first full album "Light Damage".
