Riot was formed in 1975 in New York City and recorded one of the most important metal records of all time with "Fire Down Under" (released in 1981). Unfortunately, with singer Guy Speranza (died November 8, 2003) and guitarist, band founder and main songwriter Mark Reale (died January 25, 2012), the two most important Riot protagonists are no longer with us. Like its predecessor, "Riot Archives Vol.2" includes a variety of unreleased recordings from the shallows of the Riot archive. The focus is on the Mark II phase with Rhett Forrester on vocals, who had a significant impact on albums like "Restless Breed" (1982) and "Born In America" (1983).
