Novox (CD)
NOVOX is the name of an instrumental project led by Dick Heijboer, CLIFFHANGER's keyboards player before its split in the year '01. It is noticeable that his former accomplices also contributed to that experience as well, including bass player Gijs Koopman, now involved in KNIGHT AREA. Guitarist Mark Vermeule completes that Dutch crew. The eponymous album contains a collection of twelve instrumental pièces, showcasing Progressive rock flavoured with jazz-rock, experimental or contemporary music for some parts. Think a mixture of LIQUID TENSION EXPERIMENT, COLLOSEUM and CAMEL. Strongly recommended.
