This fourth album from Toronto's favorite sons is their most dark and beautiful outing to date. While maintaining the gospel and soul influences they've always had, Porcella owes its sound very much to "Chelsea Girls"-era Nico, "Odyssey and Oracle"-era Zombies, "Forever Changes"-era Love, Leonard Cohen and The Bad Seeds (the Nick Cave band - not the Texas 60's band).
