Is it Singer or Songwriter? Some would probably call it Contemporary Folk or Americana. But no matter how you call it - what finally remains is: Making music and telling stories. The Moonband's debut album offers a various, mainly acoustic instrumentation, from upright bass to glockenspiel. Distinctive vocal harmonies snatch the listener into an atmospheric warm light. It's timeless and beautiful music, to escape the daily routines gravity for a couple of hours. "Open Space" sounds as authentic, as if you were sitting in one room with the band, right in the 150- year-old house in Saxon Bohemia, that served as studio. Sometimes it even seems that you can hear the floorboards creaking ... Music to stay.
