German multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer and control freak t (no, not that A-Team guy) is back. And this time with a vengeance. To be precise, with Dominik Hüttermann, that other German multi-instrumentalist, singer, producer and control freak (also non-A-Team member), who happens to have been good friends with t for 20 years now. They had even produced two shy albums together back in the 90ies, thereby fuelling the idea of t s own solo efforts. So, after 20 years of hard thinking, they came up with the idea they could, actually, do a real album. It's gonna be big, t said, trust me on this. Biggest there is, Dominik added.
Yet, the rest is not silence, but music. Some people have already sighed with relief as now finally the album Steven Wilson should have made is out. Then, of course, there are voices jubilating that, after all this time, progressive rock (or progressive pop, as Dom and t put it) has managed to get their own TAKE THAT. It s a wave that is out of control, it seems: "YES, CLOUDS CAN", t-shirts say. We tend to agree.
