With "Tales Of Transit City" Okta Logue release their second album
After they gained a loyal fan base at home and abroad, sold out their first album "Ballads Of A Burden" and amazed music fans and cineasts with their legendary videos, here is their successor
On their new album "Tales Of Transit City" the first song "Transit" already catches the eye. A synthesizer bubbles for a few seconds, before the typical whining octa logue guitars join in, an almost jazzy drum set forms a new, subtle contrast, organ, vocals and bass follow, everything condenses in an anti-climax, then the synth is back, it foams up like in an official club track and unloads completely in rave-like rock structures
With the first song already sent on a wondrous journey, one hears in the further course of "Tales Of Transit City" Beatles quotes, Brit-Pop reminiscences, never before written Keith Richards riffs, Wilco bows and club-like synthesizers meeting sublime choirs. When the album is finished, you want to
hear it again from the beginning, full of astonishment.
