Prog filled experimentation at its finest. Tinnitia, hailing out of Madrid Spain aim to prove themselves among the greats such as Dream Theater and the always enjoyable Three. The best thing about it though is the bands amazing ability to create their own unique style of extremely progressive experimental metal. Although there are only four tracks, that is all the band needs in order to showcase their true talent and genius when it comes to the progressive side of things. Even better is that all four tracks a re completely astonishing with every song jumping in and out of an alternative sound, thrash metal, funk jams, groove laden passages and highly efficient technical riff structures. No track sounds similar at all which is always an enjoyable prog experience. This extended play should not slip by unnoticed if you have a love for true progressive masters at work and this band is no exception. Tinnitia's EP is one of the greatest underground prog albums this year has offered up and fits in perfectly with Opeth's "Watershed", Dog Fashion Disco's compilation of rarities and Dream Theater's incredible live collection.
