The Eye = LP = (LP)
The last of Diamond's records on longtime label Roadrunner (for whom he was, at one time, the biggest seller), The Eye is a tale of nuns, witches, rape, and a magical necklace. Or something. Either way, it's not his best album, but its close to the top of his tiny little scary metal heap. His vocals seem softer, and there are even some slower numbers here (harpsichords abound), but there's catchy thrash-lite tunes, like Behind These Walls, Burn, Father Picard... After this, I kept buying the records, but either they got dull or I grew out of it, because none of them since has impacted me like the Roadrunner ones...
