The album that launched Powerwolf to stardom. "Lupus Dei" would see a stylistic change from "Return in Bloodred" one of brilliant vocals, ripping guitars and humorous lyrics. The end result was the birth of a power metal giant. We get anthemic chorus, lyrics in both Latin and English as well as riffs and solos that would make even the most skeptical power metal fan a believer. Every song on this album is immediately one that you find singing along with and it sticks in your mind well after the final song ends. I can't say enough about this release. It should be mandatory for not just power metal fans, but any one who enjoys fun, catchy sounds that have infinite replay value.
