Ma Banlieue Flasque (CD)
MA BANLIEUE FLASQUE were a short lived band out of France releasing this one album back in 1979. A five piece with sax and flute besides the normal instruments but no keyboards, and they without question were big Frank Zappa fans.
This is especially true with the opener "13'20 D'Happiness" where the vocals are very theatrical and it sounds so much like we're listening to an old Zappa album. That reminds me of one Christmas sitting around with my dad, uncle and some cousins and my cousin Tim put on "Titties And Beer" by Mr. Zappa.
