This band mixes a jazz rock kind of sound with tight, quirky progressive structured songs... two guitars, plenty of saxophone & no keyboard player (although I'm pretty sure I hear some keys in a few spots). This record is addictive: even though there are plenty of solos (mainly sax), these songs really have tight structures & melodies, often with ringing jazz guitar chords & lead sax melodies over top. There are some vocals, but they're limited to three tracks and the rest are instrumental... very musical album.
