VALINOR'S TREE-- is one of Sweden's leading bands in the new Progressive Rock movement that has recently been sweeping the world.
Over the past 10 years this style of music has been very much an underground phenomenon. Of late, however, a "split" in the progressive "scene" between the more musically esoteric acts and the moremelodic/song oriented bands have helped to move this style of music back towards a more accessible arena.

As such, Valinor's tree is one of those bands, whose music will attract an audience of other than strictly die-hard prog fans. Compared to other Swedish bands such as Anekdoten and Anglagard, but with a more melodic approach to their music (in a vein similar to famed prog acts like Arena, Ayreon, and Marillion), Valinor's tree is expected to be the next big musical export in this genre from Scandinavia.

Their sound is most definitely not soft (the bass is reminiscent of Lemmy from Motorhead), and is rhythmically distinct. Valinor's tree is a group of four young men at the beginning of their musical careers (tour offers in the USA and other countries are already on the table). Their previous album "Kingdom of Sadness" sold well and reached people in over 40 different countries!!!!!
