The Ruhr-rockers FAITHFUL BREATH are undoubtedly in the same league with German heavy metal heroes like the Scorpions or Accept. Already founded in 1967 by Mikus Heimi (guitar, vocals) and Horst Stabenow (bass, vocals) the band started as a Progressive rockband. The resulting 1973 album "Fading Beauty" is a first class demonstration of the playful and the ingenuity of the band. The next album, "Back On The Hill" was produced by the legendary label Sky Records. Faithful Breath at that time has been one of the hardest working live acts in Germany and so earned a loyal audience. From 1980 Heimi Mikus and Horst Stabenow then started the next stage of the Faithful Breath-rocket. Shrunk to a trio, the haunches were unpacked and set up the Viking helmets. The band turned in a flawless hard-rock trio. And as they rocked! Even today, the fans rave about the brutality and the pressure that the band unleashed on stage. And they showed humor. The in 1981 released album "Rock Lions" (Sky Records) real set standards. Imaginative texts were converted into individual energetic hard rock gems, the band did not hide their progressive roots.
