Following the band's story-line theme, the album (lyrically) is the prequel to the band's debut 'Second Stage Turbine Blade' -- which is great for story-indulgent fans, who get a 352-page novel 'Year of the Black Rainbow,' (if they purchase the deluxe edition) penned by the band's Claudio Sanchez and New York Times Bestselling author Peter David.
