Quartz are not only one of the oldest, active metal bands, but also one of the but also to the founding fathers of the NWOBHM. Together with Samson and Marseilles they swept the punk movement of the late seventies, as the vanguard of Iron Maiden and Saxon Term "New Wave Of British Heavy Metal" came into being a little later. 1977 the debut album "Quartz", strongly reminiscent of Black Sabbath, was released, later marketed a second time as "Deleted", on Jet Records (among others. Ozzy Osbourne). In 1980, they switched to the next industry giant: MCA. In the same year they gave us the LP "Stand Up And Fight". Both albums are now beloved classics, but in between these releases Releases there was an exciting phase, which produced two singles and a live LP and a live LP. And, of course, Quartz's signature song: "Satan's Serenade"!
