The Silent Room = Digipack = (CD)
The Silent Room is a meditative, beautiful and very personal album by the swedish saxophonist and song writer Torbjörn Righard. Characteristics from different genres are mixed with a jazz style of rich and warm sounds. The record is held together by the haunting melodies and the lyrics, performed by the singers Anna Elwing and Svante Lodén. Torbjörn Righard has previously been heard in the groups Agurk Players, with Svante Lodén, and Alwa, with Anna Elwing. Here the three are joined by a band of Johan Ohlsson, piano, Mats Ingvarsson, bass, Bo Håkansson, drums, Filip Runesson, violin, and Krister Jonsson, guitar. All music and lyrics are written by Torbjörn Righard, who also produced the album.
