Norwegian Black Metal act Gehenna follow up their album "Adimiron Black" with an album a bit more towards the Death Metal genre, but it's still Black Metal, no doubt. The guitarplaying is pretty much based on riffs, with a very heavy sound, though there also are a few solos here. There are a few great riffs, and some more advanced playing can also be heard. Although there's no grating guitars, it has a very dirty sound. The vocals are grim and growling, maybe a bit deathish at times but also with a somewhat industrial sound, I think. There's loads of blast beats and the album keeps an intense feel though there also are slower, almost doomy parts
