Digitally remastered edition. Originally released in 2008, this was, at the time, Starship's first album in nine years. Jefferson Starship drills into its folk roots giving us an acoustic album consisting of mostly covers of folk classics. Covering songs by great '60s singer/songwriters like Bob Dylan, Phil Ochs, and Richard Farina. The Starship reminds us that folk rock has been part of their agenda since the heady days of Jefferson Airplane. Paul Kantner, along with fellow original Airplane members Marty Balin and Jack Cassidy, are joined by David Freiberg, David Laflamme (It's A Beautiful Day), and on the bonus untitled track, the legendary Grace Slick adds her vocals.
