Musica Negra (CD)
'Musica Negra' is a real lost gem of Atlanta's lively funk scene of the '70s, featuring material written and produced by Calvin Arnold. The LP, originally pressed in a ridiculously limited edition in '78, was meant as a showcase for the Atlanta Studios presenting new artists. The cover mentioned the names of some young musicians, but they weren't the actual players. However, on this reissue the real artists are credited: Stevo Milner, Curt Mitchell, Tommy Stewart, J.D. Morris and Harry Case, plus a few guests.
