BACK TO SQUARE ONE AGAIN: 89-91 is the latest instalment of the highly acclaimed Boss Tuneage Retro Series, featuring the recordings of Brightons SLEEP. Although only in existence for two years, SLEEP made quite an impact on the UK melodic punk scene in a short time. Through the Suffocate 7 inch and Cat And Mouse LP both released on Meantime Records, and a string of shows up and down the country (including supporting QUICKSAND on their UK tour) SLEEP dealt in melodic hardcore akin to the likes of HDQ, SNUFF and INSTIGATORS. This CD contains their vinyl releases complete with extra bonus, rare demo and live tracks and many unseen photos, plus liner notes from the band themselves. This is the first time SLEEPs recordings have been available on CD.
