Esoteric Recordings are pleased to announce the release of a newly remastered edition of Cluster's classic 1971 self-titled debut album. Hans-Joachim Roedelius & Dieter Moebius had been making experimental electronic music since meeting at Berlin's famed Zodiak arts lab in the late 1960s. "Cluster" was their first work for a major label and the sessions saw Conny Plank join the duo as a musician and producer. The trio utilised varied instrumentation such as organs, audio generators and electronically treated cello to produce an album that All Music Guide later referred to as "a dislocating, disorientating meld of random space music, industrial noise, proto-ambient atmospherics, feedback and soundwash". This Esoteric Reactive edition is newly remastered and
fully restores the original album artwork and includes a booklet with new essay.
