Withershin was spawned in 2006. This vile entity was conceived from the founding members' fierce devotion to black metal and ambitions to take previous musical attempts to a completely different level. Within a few months, a unique and powerful brand of intense, chrushing black metal was forged. In april 2007 Withershin recorded the debut demo "Chaos Discipline", which gained both praise and attention. A few months later Nine, a powerful vocalist with the attitude, force and ideals necessary, swore allegiance to Withershin. In late 2007, Withershin joined forces with Canonical Hours for the release of the debut album "Ashen Banners", a work of pure wrath and terror. The album was recorded in studio Endarker (Marduk, IXXI) during february 2008 and produced by Magnus "Devo" Andersson
