After two albums on I Hate Records the third album of England's Centurions Ghost is released on The Church Within Records. The band around bassist/composer/producer Richard Whitaker simply delivers another heavy album that a logical continuance of their pervious efforts. The band became a quartet after being around as a quintet most of the time but you don't notice that at all on this album; this just sound s super heavy. It's not without a reason that this band has been labelled as the heaviest band from England. Musically you will hear groovy doom in the vein of Cathedral, threatening sludge and hardcore vocals courtesy of Mar Scurr. So, Centurions Ghost is also quite original next to being heavy. Those who love acts like Cathedral or Crowbar probably will dig Centurions Ghost as well.
