What Is So Funny About Peace Love And Understanding? (CD)
Brinsley Schwarz, fronted by Nick Lowe, were pioneers of the 1970s pub rock movement. They embraced a number of influences, primarily The Band, rock 'n' roll and soul. This album was compiled by Brinsley Schwarz and features the best of the BBC sessions, originally recorded for John Peel and Bob Harris between 1972 and 1975. Also included is one session fronted by the great Frankie Miller. None of these recordings have ever been available before and the booklet features liner notes by Brinsley himself.
