Filmed in Switzerland, Hellvetia Fire is the first official DVD from the favored blackmetallers. The raw film, featuring a guest appearance from Tom G. Warrior (Hellhammer/Celtic Frost, Triptykon), captures the four-piece blazing through a dozen of their most popular songs. Through smoke, lights, and that unstoppable blast beat, 1349 shock and awe as we have come to expect. From their beginnings, 1349 has been touted as a band to watch. The band's over-the-top ferocity has been celebrated by both fan and critic. All Music Guide called them, "a band ripe with promise," on review of their debut, Liberation. The band, featuring always outspoken vocalist Ravn, guitarist Archaron with bassist Seidemann and drummer Frost (Satyricon), quickly took the metal world by storm and have not let go since. Committed to the stage, 1349 have been to the US seven times, bringing their musical madness straight to stateside fans.
