The first reissue for the highly respected guitarist, none of the tracks having made it onto even a compilation CD before. Junior Hanson had previously worked with Toots and the Maytals, Bob Marley, Linda Lewis, Stevie Winwood, Keef Hartley and would go on to front the Wailers after Marley's death. Now Hear This is the sound of Hanson's group in all of it's potent psyche funk fusion glory. Engineered by John Burns at Island studios and released on Manticore in '73, Junior Hanson shows off his Hendrix / Santana guitar style to great effect. This is classic 70's funk rock.
