The Rolling Stones On Air (CD)
With "On Air", The Rolling Stones present a very special album at the end of the year: these are rare radio and TV recordings from the early days of the band, a selection of BBC session recordings from 1963 to 1965, as well as from shows like "Saturday Club", "Top Gear", "Rhythm and Blues" and "The Joe Loss Pop Show". A total of 18 songs have made it into the collection, including eight previously unreleased tracks. Included are some Stones originals as well as a few cover songs, for example by Chuck Berry, Tommy Tucker, Buster Brown and Bo Diddley.
