Be A Brother / How Hard It Is (CD)
2016 two CD set featuring a pair of post-Janis Joplin albums from the purveyors of the San Francisco sound. Though most famous for featuring the truly awesome Joplin before her solo success, the band carried on after she left issuing these two excellent albums. Be A Brother (1970) features additional member Nick Gravenites plus Janis on occasional backing vocals. It was followed a year later by How Hard It is This package has liner notes by band member Sam Andrews.
