Originally released in 1969. Digitally remastered. Liquid Smoke were a Long Island, New York group. Their sole LP, produced by Vinny Testa (who also produced Frijid Pink) was released in early 1970. The music is best described as classic blues-rock with a good mix of hard-rock. Much of this album is organ based with great heavy guitar parts, and it sounds a bit like Himble Pie and Vanilla Fudge, both mixed with psychedelic. Liquid Smoke is an underrated band, but it can easily be referred to in the same breath with the aformentioned groups.
