Blues On The Ceiling = LP, Gold = (LP)
One of the longest running and still active Rhythm & Blues Bands from Holland, The Bintangs were founded in 1961 by brothers Frank and Arti Kraaijeveld and performed in different line-ups. In 1966 they were warm-up act for The Rolling Stones during their concert in Den Bosch and in 1967 acted as warm-up for The Kinks. Blues On The Ceiling was the band's debut album, originally released in 1969 on the Decca label. The album showcases their raw sound playing tracks and covers from Muddy Waters, W.C. Handy and Willie Dixon.
