Testament (CD)
Testament is a progressive rock, concept album based on our modern understanding of creation, starting with the Big Bang. The multi-instrumentalist Finn Arild is this time backed by Mikael Wikman on drums. Also appearing are his old friend Reidar Wiik on piano and his wife Elin Aasheim on backing vocals. Taking three years to complete, this album features 60 minutes of non-stop music describing the creation of the universe, the stars and our solar system, followed by the creation of life on earth and the appearance of mankind. Then, after a brief intermission, the theme changes to selected topics on the state of mankind and the universe today.
