"Garamond was born from the intention of freeing itself and the whole world from the genres which often influence juvenile (but not only) musical panorama, trying to propound something more peculiar, based on elation of creativity and curiosity. Starting point or aim to have as a goal (doesn't matter...) is a suspicious stance towards the mass-media or culture imposed mainstream musical épistémè. It's difficult to define, even for band members themselves, the conflict between harmony and disharmony in Garamond's music. Beginning is so-called "progressive rock", but Garamond don't stare at it as a genre, considering it as an attitude, a forma mentis, an ideal humus on which start a musical experience that shall continually distrust itself."
