Here it is at last: the recording of The Pretty Things' final show. "The Final Bow" documents their December 13, 2018 concert at the O2 Indigo in London, in picture and sound, available on double LP or as a set with two concert film DVDs, two live CDs and a bonus 10" vinyl with a best-of selection by Phil May and Dick Taylor. Rounding out "The Final Bow" box set is a 52-page hardcover book with live photography by Judy Totton, extensive sleeve notes and Phil & Dick's individual notes telling their stories about Band. The concert was recorded by Ben McCusker, mastered by Gwyn Matthias and produced by Mark St. John. This recording of their career-spanning set showcases both the band's energy and technical prowess, plus their multi-faceted style, which ranges from wave and R'n'B to psychedelic rock and blues. In addition to the current lineup of Phil May and Dick Taylor, Frank Holland, Jack Greenwood and George Woosey, original band members Skip Allen, Wally Waller and John Povey also returned to the stage for the show. In addition, there are guest appearances by none other than Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour on the classics "Cries From The Midnight Circus" and "L.S.D." and Van Morrison on "Baby, Please Don't Go" and the soul standard "You Can't Judge A Book By Its Cover".
